President visits flood-affected region

Georgian President visited today the flood-affected regions in teh western part of the country. Mikheil Saakashvili arrived in the villages of Tsalenjikha district. He visited all the affected families and gave instructions to the government members.

Tbilisi Appeal Court releases statement on Ivanishvili`s case

Tbilisi Appeal Court has released a statement regarding the ruling taken on the appeal of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the leader of the Georgian Dream Coalition, who is seeking his double citizenship. In the statement, the court defines the reasons of the decision, which left the ruling of the Tbilisi City Court in force and did not satisfy the appeal. 

Minister accompanied visually impaired entrants to exam center

The entrants are passing tests in Georgian language and literature on the second day of the unified entrance exams. Minister of Education of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini accompanies six visually impaired entrants of the N202 public school to one of the examination centers arranged in the State Technical University today. 

Beka Zardiashvili`s coffin transferred from U.S. to Georgia

The coffin of the Georgian national, Beka Zardiashvili, who was killed by his colleague in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, United States, on June 21, has been transferred to Georgia. The investigation has confirmed that Zardiashvili was killed by the employ of the same supermarket were he worked.
