8 people have been injured in the explosion that took place in teh town of Dusheti of Mtskheta-Mtianeti district in Eastern part of the country. A vehicle with representatives of the forestry department of the district in it blew up close to the boundary with Russia.
Within the Week of Europe that is being held in Tbilisi, an official reception was held in the president`s palace on Saturday (June 2). Georgian and foreign politicians, experts and public figures attended the meeting.
A 4-year-old child died after he fell from the window from the 6th floor of block of apartments in Rustavi some 35 kilometers from Tbilisi. The toddler died immediately, before the emergency brigade arrived.
