Preparations for the anniversary of Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II have started. The organization group for the event planned for the 80th anniversary of the birth and the 35th anniversary of the enthronement of the Georgian patriarch held a meeting at the parliament today.
Holy Synod of the Apostolic Church of Georgia disapproves involvement of church servicemen in any political activities - the statement was released after the session of the Synod held at the Patriarch`s Residence yesterday.
