The fate of the Georgian sailor, who is among the crew of the British tanker hijacked by Somali pirates, is still unknown. Somali pirates hijacked a UK-flagged chemical tanker in the Gulf of Aden. The St James Park was captured on Monday while on its way to Thailand from Spain, said the Kenya-based Seafarers Assistance Programme.
Georgian sailor, Giorgi Shukakidze made a phone call to his family a week ago, since then they failed to contact the sailor.
The Foreign Ministry is working to find out the whereabouts of the Georgian citizen.
