President opens Georgian-Turkish school in Batumi

President Saakashvili attended opening ceremony of Georgian-Turkish school in Batumi. In his speech, Mikheil Saakashvili spoke about Georgia’s education system and situation at schools.
`We have rehabilitated over 90% of Georgian schools. I can dare say that all schools in Georgia have individual central heating system, and I can remember the time, when I became the president, there was not a single public school in the country having central heating system,` Saakashvili said and added that schools today were equipped with modern inventory, they had rehabilitated gyms and some of then swimming pools.
`We become country of modern schools, with modern education infrastructure. Infrastructure is important to make teachers and pupils feel good,’ President stated. He says that professional teachers are needed to train staff as many hotels are opened in Georgia, namely in the region of Adjara.
