US Navy Admiral concerned on Russian policy

US Navy Admiral James Stavridis has expressed the concern of the US government, their allies and friends regarding the activities of Russia such as intervention in August 2008 in Georgia conduct of military training at the borders of this country and the refusal to lift the moratorium on the fulfilment of the terms of the conventional arms in Europe.
In his speech at the U.S. Senate`s committee of armed forces, Steroids said that there were difficulties tied with the development of bilateral military contacts with Russia, however, there were the spheres, in which the sides could collaborate effectively.
