US diplomat reiterates support to Georgia`s territorial integrity

The United States does not recognize the independence of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region - US ambassador to the Russian Federation John Beyrle announced at the press conference held in Moscow yesterday. The US diplomat said despite the differences on the issue of Georgia, Russia and the US would continue to cooperate in the spheres, in which they have common positions.
`We always said that we do not recognize independence of Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia region. We do have differences with Russia on this issue, but these differences will not obstruct to the continuation of positive dialogue between us,` John Beyrle said.
