Telavi, Zelona Gora become friend cities

Georgian city of Telavi, Kakheti Region, and Poland`s city of Zelona Gora, both popular with their traditions of wine making, will become friends today. A corresponding memorandum will be signed between the two cities today.
The Chancellor of the Polish city Agata Miedzinska went on sightseeing today and viewed the rehabilitation works in the city. The guests from Zelona Gora said the two cities resembled each other very much.
`In Poland we have a city with wine making traditions like Telavi and we wanted very much to make new contacts with our friends fro Telavi in order to learn more about wine culture in Georgia and traditions,` Agata Miedzinska said.
