Classical music concert held at Georgia`s occupied region

A final open air concert of the Future of Georgia classical music festival will be held in the vicinity of the new building of Georgia parliament in the city of Kutaisi tomorrow, on the day of Independence of Georgia. Students of the ten-year music school will perform with all symphony orchestras of Georgia at the concert.
Outstanding stars like opera singer Nino Surguladze, pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, violinist Caroline Campbell will perform along with the students at the concert, while classical music director Gianluca Marciano will be conducting it.
The concert by the students of the ten-year music school and the famous stars was held at the Enguri Bridge connecting the Georgian-controlled territory with the country`s occupied region Abkhazia.
The festival, which intends conducting masterclasses throughout Georgia started on May 22. It was hosted by the First Lady of Georgia in the office of the president.
