Economic Minister attends regional meeting of World Economic Forum
Minister of Sustainable Development and Economics of Georgia, Vera Kobalia attended the regional meeting of the World Economic Forum in Istanbul, Turkey today. Georgia was described as the country carrying out successful anti-crisis economic policy along with Turkey.
Vera Kobalia met with her Turkish counterpart and discussed the agenda of the business-forum, which is due to be held on June 9, 2012, in the Turkey`s city of Kars. The forum will be attended by the business authorities from Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Within the visit to turkey, Vera Kobalia has also discussed cooperation issues at the meetings with the Croatian Vice Prime Minister and Economic Minister.
The Minister of Energy and Natural resources, Kakha Kaladze downplays the concerns of some opponents about the possible growth of the electricity consumption charge, saying the electricity tariff will not be changed.
