54-year-old woman found dead in her apartment in Tbilisi
A 54-year-old woman has been found dead in her apartment in Tbilisi. As reported, the woman had multiple knife wounds on her throat.
Police have already detained 45-year-old Khvicha Kirkitadze, who has pleaded guilty.
As reported, the accused man is a micro-bus driver working on the Tbilisi-Zugddi itinerary. He met Nona Mikadze during a travel from Tbilisi to Zugdidi of Samegrelo Region in Western Georgia, when the woman invited him to her apartment. Police found a vodka bottle and some food at the crime scene.
Investigation has been launched under the clause of premeditated murder.
In case if considered guilty, the accused driver may face 15-yer imprisonment.
