Georgian president inspects experimental agricultural lands

Georgian president inspected today the experimental agricultural lands, on which tomato seedlings are being planted in teh village of Shindisi in the eastern part on the country. The plants are watered by means of an innovative pivot system on the lands, where the seedlings are provided simultaneously with water and all necessary minerals.
An agro tour was underway at the lands when the president arrived. Mikheil Saakashvili joined the tour participants.
On the way to the agricultural lads, Mikheil Saakashvili suggested the agro tour participants to inspect the farmers` service center in the town of Kareli. He talked to the locals in the bus discussed the problems they are facing in their villages.
After inspecting the farmers` service center, the president and the villagers left Kareli by bus together.
United National Movement is concerned about the fall of the index of economic growth in the country. Giorgi Vashadze of the parliamentary minority says the official data released the State Department of Statistics shows that both import and export were reduced during the past month.
Georgian wine will emerge on Russian market soon - Russia`s chief sanitarian doctor Genady Onishchenko has said the product is currently passing the customs procedures.

Zurab Japaridze of the party briefed in this regards today and announced that according to the official statistics published yesterday, the number of the citizens, who lost their jobs in private sector in the first quarter of the year 2013 reached 42,000.
Member of the parliament from United National Movement Giorgi Vashadze has expressed his concerns regarding the regress in country`s economy. MP Vashadze briefed at the Politiko press club today and said: `Process of economic development in Georgia is going backwards`.
