Saakashvili expresses sorrow over famous footballer`s death
Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his sorrow and offered his condolences to the family of famous Georgian footballer Ramaz Shengelia, who died today of sudden hearty attack at the age of 55.
"This is a big loss for the Georgian society because Ramaz Shengelia was much more than a sportsman for us. For Georgia, he was a symbol of very significant feeling, emotion, success. In his life, I knew him quite well, he was a very timid and good person and I`d like a lot of patriots like him to be born in our country", he said.
