Candidates of ministers met with lawmakers

Nominated Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili and other candidates of the ministers met with the lawmakers today to introduce their action plans about the government`s work and specific projects for the development of various spheres. The meeting was held at the joint session of the committees of sector economy, agrarian and health care committees.
Vano Merabishvili defined the functions, which will be granted to the new ministry of employment.
`Our slogan is - more benefit to people. Our top priority will be reduction of unemployment. We found out that we do not have accurate information about the profession of people, who fail to find jobs most of all. The function of this ministry will be not only to obtain this information, but also determine the form of relationship between these people and the state, form a data base of unemployed people and those who are searching for new jobs and use all our resources, which are increasing eventually, for solving these problems,` Merabishvili said.
