Crystal ltd. director sent to custody

Director of the Crystal ltd. has been sent to custody under the ruling of the Tbilisi city court today. Dautashvili was charged with negligence due to the accident, which occurred in the Lilo district of the capital three days ago. Chlorine leakage from a damaged container caused intoxication of over 70 people.
The lawyer of the defendant tried to convince the judge that the container did not belong to the ltd. Crystal and therefore, Dautashvili could be bailed out for 5,000 GEL, but the judge satisfied the motion of the prosecutor and sent Dautashvili to custody.
The trial on the case of Dautashvili will be held on August 27.
