Tbilisi ready to send assistance to Russia
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has expressed deepest sorrow for the death toll from the floods in southern Russia. As reported, 155 people have been killed in by the disaster in Krasnodar region of the country.
The ministry has offered its condolences to the families of the killed and injured citizens.
The administration of the Georgian president has also released a statement regarding the tragedy in Russia. It says the Georgian side has expressed its readiness to offer any kind of assistance - send rescue brigades or humanitarian aid to Russia.
