French Senators arrive at Georgia`s occupied region

Chairman of Georgian Parliament received ambassadors of African countries to UN today. At the meeting held in the parliament bilateral relations, the reforms carried out in Georgia and the new projects. The ambassadors will stay in Georgia for dew more days.
Chairman Davit Bakradze also received French Senators today.
Prior to the meeting, the senators arrived at the so-called border of Georgia`s Russian-occupied region. They arrived in the village of Odzisi of Akhalgori district early morning. The senators inspected the current situation and met locals in the village.
The French senators have arrived in Georgia to participate in the 9th international conference.
"We wanted to see what does the occupation in your country look like and what are the results of violation the international norms in Georgia. I hope this problem will be resolved", French Senator Andre Richard said.
"We are witnessing how a strong neighbor is using force against the neighboring country. We will take reports on what is happening here to France", French Senator Natalie Gullet said.
