Black Sea resort of Kobuleti getting prepared for tourist season

Georgia`s Black Sea resort of Kobuleti is getting prepared for the summer tourist season. The resort will soon have a refurbished park. Construction and rehabilitation of 6 objects simultaneously, including an artist`s house, an amphitheatre and tennis courts is underway in the park.
As reported, a lake inside the park and pedestrian tracks around it are being reconstructed, as well as other amusement objects. One kilometer coast-protecting works are also almost completed.
Georgian President inspected the ongoing works in Kobuleti today. Prior to it, Mikheil Saakashvili visited a stone factory, where various stone plates are prepared. With the stone plates different buildings are faced with the stone plates made at the factory which employs 55 people.
The demonstration planned by the NGO Identoba, which was intended to be held on Rustaveli Avenue today, was not only disrupted, but it caused mass clashes and violent riot on Tbilisi`s central avenue. Parliament speaker has made a special announcement on behalf of the parliament regarding the violent demonstration on Rustaveli Avenue today. Davit Usupashvili called on the protestors, police and whole society to keep order and stability.
