Georgian Dream coalition demands investigation of Karaleti incident

Chairman of the Georgian Dream opposition coalition commented today on teh incident that took place in the village of Karaleti, when a scuffle arose between the coalition members and IDPs living in a compact settlement in the village.
At the briefing held in the coalition`s office, Manana Kobakhidze said the incident was motivated by political discrimination and called law enforcers for its investigation.
"This is dispersing a peaceful rally, this is interfering in journalists` activities, this is inflicting injuries on someone`s health, this is a political discrimination. All this makes one big crime investigation of which we demand. We don`t have a hope that the incident will be impartially investigated, we have names of those people, who participated in that criminal attack, the government has an obligation to investigate this crime", she said.
