Support rallies for Georgia`s UNM held in Western Georgia

The country will not return to the past, - Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili made the promise at the meeting with voters in the parliamentary city of Kutaisi today.
The president with the First Lady arrived at the support rally for the United National Movement ruling party today. The meeting was held within the electoral campaign before teh forthcoming parliamentary elections due to be held on October 1, 2012.
Supporters of teh UNM started gathering in the center of Kutaisi from the 12 municipal districts of Imereti Region since morning. Vehicle convoys of delegates arrived in teh city.
First Lady Sandra Elisabeth Roelo9efs was first who addressed the people assembled in the center of Kutaisi. She was followed by the president, who presented the UNM`s program to the supporters.
A large-scale support rally for the UNM was also held in Black Sea Town Batumi today. The party leaders met supporters on the Square of Europe. The president also joined the delegates assembled at meeting held within the party`s campaign.
The UNM`s meeting with voters was also held in Ozurgeti, Guria region today. The official meeting opened in teh center of the town at midday. They later were joined by the president who arrived in Guria from Samegrelo Region.
In his speech in Ozurgeti, Saakashvili said "Guria Region is in a difficulty now and all will be done for the people to help them overcome the problems and the future generation to help it forget what the social difficulty is".
The first support rally for the UNM within its campaign was held today morning in the town of Zugdidi of Samegrelo Region. The president arrived at the meeting with his family.
First Lady addressed the people assembled in the central square of Zugdidi first. Later President Saakashvili addressed the people and spoke about the party`s program and the ways for the country`s development in his speech.
