President visited Guria Region

President Saakashvili visited Guria Region within the pre-election campaign today. Mikheil Saakashvili congratulated on the beginning of the school year to the pedagogues and the pupils of a new school in the Lanchkhuti municipality village of Chibati.
President presented the teachers with roses and viewed the new school, which also has a Class of the Future. The school is intended for 300 children and it was constructed in one year.
President also arrived in another village, Mamati, where he participated in the construction of a new 17,5 km-long road. The new section of the road will connect five villages - Shukhuti, Mamati, Atsana and Dzimiti with one another. The road construction works include construction of water canals and construction of a bridge. 110 persons are employed on the project, most of them are locals.
Mikheil Saakashvili arrived in the Ureki resort of Guria Region today together with the majoritarian MP candidate. President viewed several infrastructure projects, which are still under construction and said that the resort would have a renovated beach next year.
