Georgia`s new Correction Minister promises reforming of system
Georgia`s new Minister for Correction and Legal Assistance Giorgi Tugushi at the special briefing held today presented to media priorities of his action plan and the certain actions the ministry is going to take.
Giorgi Tugushi said the ministry will work in accordance with contemporary standards. "The penitentiary system will be completely reformed. It will be turned to contemporary standards and in this process teh best models will be taken into consideration in order to provide Georgia receive efficient penitentiary system oriented at human dignity and honor", he said.
