MIA releases audio conversations

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has released audio records of the conversations between two leaders of the Georgian Dream Coalition, Kakha Kaladze and Gubaz Sanikidze and the criminal bosses, who currently live abroad.
Kaladze talks with strangers about his meeting with eight criminal authorities abroad. Telephone dialogues between several criminal authorities have been also published. In it the influential criminals give instructions to their allies in Georgia to win over voters and make them support opposition coalition.
`We are presenting the audio records obtained by the operative acivities, in which close contacts between Kakha Kaladze and eight crime bosses living abroad is revealed,` ministry official said at the briefing today.
MIA also published Kutaisi majoritarian MP candidate`s dialogue with fugitive former minister of security Valeri Khaburdzania. According to the deal between them, Gubaz Sanikidze asks Khaburdzania to provide release of a criminal authority from Russian prison, promising to be paid for this.
Valeri Khaburdzania was the security minister in Shevardnadze`s government. Saakashvili dismissed him after the rose revolution. In one of his interviews, Saakashvili said that Putin asked him personally to leave Khaburdzania on the position at their first meeting in Moscow.
Khaburdzania chaired the Ministry of Security when the scandalous anti-terror operation was conducted in the Pankisi Gorge. His deputies were Lasha Natsvlishvili and Irakli Alasania then, who are currently members of the Georgian Dream coalition led by Bidzina Ivanishvili.
