President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili held several meetings in various regions of Georgia today. The visit to the regions began from Batumi, where Mikheil Saakashvili met with the voters on the territory of the Batumi Technological University. Saakashvili reiterated the priorities of the ruling team for the future and spoke about the projects, which have been already implemented in the region and those, which are planned for the future. After Batumi, Saakashvili arrived in Poti and addressed the supporters of the ruling party at the newly rehabilitated and reconstructed Virgin Mary Church. President focused on the rehabilitation projects which have been already implemented and which were planned for the future in the city. President also spoke about the priorities of the ruling party`s election program. Mikheil Saakashvili has also held meetings with the locals in Ozurgeti town, Guria Region. It was the summarizing meeting of the president with supporters.
Attorneys of the UNM secretary general Vano Merabishvili and president`s representative to the Kakheti Region will appeal the ruling of the Kutaisi city court by 3 p.m. today.
