One of the leaders of the Christian Democratic Movement, Inga Grigolia, who lifted her majoritarian MP candidate a few days before the parliamentary elections, now plans to defect from the Tbilisi Sakrebulo (Tbilisi self-government). Grigolia will submit corresponding statement to the chairperson of the Sakrebulo later today. Grigolia has defined that her decision was motivated with the incompatibility of positions during the coverage of the elections. `By leaving the mandate of the Sakrebulo MP, I am bidding my farewell to Georgian politics forever. Nobody will ever see me in any political team,` Grigolia told Rustavi2. One of the most popular journalists in Georgian media plans to return back soon.
Nine persons have been arrested within the investigation launched after finding the scandalous videos of human torture and sexual abuse. The videos were along weapons and drugs in a secret store in Samegrelo last week.
