NATO Secretary General`s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai pays a working visit to Georgia. Appathurai arrived in Tbilisi early on Thursday morning and made his first comment. He said with the parliamentary elections, Georgia had shown an example to young democracies around the world. He also assessed the current situation in Georgia as a historic moment. Within the visit to Georgia, James Appathurai will hold meetings with the outgoing government and the members of the Georgian Dream coalition, which is to assume power in a few days. Meetings with president Saakashvili and the future prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili are also on the agenda.
