Alasania attended funeral of late Corporal

Candidate for the minister of defense, GD leader Irakli Alasania visited the family of late corporal Mindia Abashidze to express his condolence. Irakli Alasania attended the funeral in the village of Tkhilnari, Adjara Region, last night. 23 year-old corporal was the commander of the third infantry brigade`s fire group. Alasania said the government of Georgia should intensify its effort and attention to protect the lives of Georgian soldiers serving at hot points.
`Corporal Abashidze is a hero; he defended dignity of whole world and our Georgian people in the anti-terror battle. This is a great loss for the family and we express our condolences to them. All we have to do now is to intensify attention and care of our soldiers, especially to those who are at battle fields,` Alasania said.
