Candidate for Georgia`s PM meets with EU representatives

Cnadidate for Georiga`s Prime Minister Bidzina ivanishvili m et with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle and Deputy Secretary General for the External Action Service Helga Schmid.
The Eu representatives arrived at Ivanishvili`s business center and met with Candidate for Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and Candidate for Defence Minister Irakli Alasania.
The participants of the meeting discussed the parliamentary elections held in Georgia and Georgia-EU relations.
"European Union discussed the peaceful transfer of power based on the decision of voters in a democratic ballot. And afetr the ministers repeated the readiness tu support Georgia in getting closer to European Union. Bearing their differences the leaders of Georgia ensured the historic transfer of power proceeded smoothly.
"Presiednt Saakashvili and Mr. Ivanishvili have put their country`s best interest first and I salute their statemenship and their patriotism. The European Union countr on them to continue to work together in this constructive spirit.
" they can be also proud of the way in which they have hanedd over the reigns of power.
"We have actually confirmed our committment to the political calendar as it has been established. We have no plans to postpone the nest meeting on the deep and comprehensive free trade area", Fule said after the meeting.
