Georgia`s CEC ratifies final results of parliamentary polls

Final Results of Georgia`s parliamentary elections 2012 have been published. The Central Election Commission (CEC) ratified today the summarized document of the October 1 election.
According to the final outcomes, Georgian Dream Coalition received 54,97 % of votes, while United National Movement received - 40,34 %.
The Georgian Dream will have 85 MPs in parliament, including 44 mandates by proportionate system and 41 by majoritarian system.
The United National Movement will have in the parliament 65 mandates, including 33 by proportionate system, 32- by majoritarian system.
According to the final results, 2 215 661 voters took part in the election. 62 874 ballot papers were annulled.
The document was signed by chairperson of CEC Zurab Kharatishvili and secretary of CEC commission Gizo Mchedlidze.
