Candidate for Georgia`s Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili responded today to NGOs, which have demanded withdrawal of candidate for miniser for refugees and accomodation Davit Darakhvelidze.
"As a candidate for prime-minister, I`m ready to meet and cooperate with all the NGOs, who deemed it necessary to express their position regarding appointment of the members of government", Mr. Ivanishvili said in his statement.
"It’s also unprecedented when candidate for minister answers the questions of the NGOs on television regarding some statements made by Davit Darakhvelidze when he was majoritarian MP candidate.
"I also want to declare that if after yesterday’s program, explanations by Davit Darakhvelidze were not enough for the NGOs, I’ll be ready to discuss the issue with the NGOs along with the candidate for Minister and listen to their opinions and proposal”, the statement says", the statement says.
The NGOs in their address to Mr. Ivanishvili express sorrow that during the election campaign conducted by the candidates for Ministers in Ambrolauri region, hateful and racial expressions were used by Davit Darakhvelidze, like the aggressive tone in relations to mass media.
