Ivanishvili presented government`s program to MPs

Candidate for Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili presented the program of the government entitled `For Strong, Democratic, and United Georgia` prior to the vote to the candidates of the cabinet members.
In this program, candidate for the prime minister emphasized the need of de-politicizing law enforcement structures, cultural sector, education system, prosecutor`s office and development and reinforcement of democratic institutions. Bidzina Ivanishvili also spoke about the reforms in the social sector, including universal insurance policy, health care system, also about assistance to the development of agriculture and other sectors. Freedom of media and judiciary was also nominated as the priority of the new government.
Ivanishvili`s speech was followed by the statements from the members of the parliament. The members of the parliamentary minority disapproved the government`s program due to the lack of precise dates of the program.
