Russian authorities say they know the Zurab Abashidze very well, as he was the ambassador of Georgia to Russia. They describe him as an experienced person and diplomat. Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Grigory Karasin spoke about the experience of former ambassador, who visited Russia with different missions during past few years.
