MIA seizes large amount of cocaine, arrested drug dealers

The officers of Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have seized a large amount of cocaine drug and arrested two persons Givi N. and Lasha P. for drug-dealing.
Reportedly, these persons purchased eight packs of cocaine worth of 4500 GEL in Tbilisi. Officers have also identified the provider Giorgi G.
During the search of the apartment of Giorgi G at Kostava Street, Tbilisi, law enforcers found 34 “packs” of cocaine ready for realization. It was also established that Giorgi G. was selling one “pack” of heroine for 400 GEL.
Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting investigation under the article 260 II part, sub-paragraph B envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
Attorneys of the UNM secretary general Vano Merabishvili and president`s representative to the Kakheti Region will appeal the ruling of the Kutaisi city court by 3 p.m. today.
