Kobi-Gudauri road section is in danger of avalanche
Kobi-Gudauri section of the Tbilisi-Larsi motorway is still in danger of avalanche - road brigades have suspended road cleaning works due to bad weather. Sada Gorge is completely isolated from the rest of the region; however, one-side movement is open towards Barisakho and Pshavi regions. Thirty villages of the Dusheti region have been also isolated by deep snow, which has damaged electricity network leaving the area in blackout. Traffic movement is also blocked up in Dusheti town. Road cleaning vehicles fail to reach the disaster area to clean up roads. Traffic was halted from Stefantsminda to Larsi border-point too. Weather forecast says it will stop to snow later today, however, temperature will continue to fall by the end of the week.
