Khalvashi released after a few hours` detention in Azerbaijan

Fugitive Georgian businessman, Kibar Khalvashi, has been arrested in Azerbaijan and released after a few hours` of detention, Chief Prosecutor of Georgia has reported.
According to the official source, Prosecutor`s office sent corresponding documents to the Azeri law enforcers as soon as being reported about the detention of Kibar khalvashi, who was recently lifted his charges after being granted the status of a political refugee. Prosecutor`s office has defined that they have faced specific problems in the CIS member states due to the different legal standards, which delayed the procedures of lifting red notice.
Chief prosecutor`s office currently has no information about the location of Kibar Khalvashi. Azerbaijan`s media reported the detention of the Georgian businessman earlier today. They said based on the information of the Azerbaijan`s interior ministry, that one of the former share-holders of Rustavi2 TV Company was `wanted by Georgian law enforcers under the articles 180 (Forgery), 182 (Misappropriation or Embezzlement), 194 (Legalization of Illicit Income), 210 (Forging or Use of Credit or Settlement Card), 332 (Abuse of Official Authority), 341 (Falsification in Service) and 342 (Neglect of Official Duty) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.`
