Ivanishvili had a brief conversation with Medvedev in Davos

Georgian and Russian Prime Ministers, Bidzina Ivanishvili and Dmitri Medvedev have had a brief conversation in Davos, where they are attending World Economic Forum. The two prime ministers were invited to a special reception - Russian news agencies have reported based on one of the Russian businessman, who was also attending the event. The businessman has said that Ivanishvili went to the Russian Prime Minister first and they talked for a few minutes.
It was the first meeting between the Georgian and Russian heads of the governments since Georgia cut diplomatic ties with the northern neighbor.
Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze will make official statement about the informal meeting of the two prime ministers later today.
Meanwhile, Georgian and Russian delegation have reached first agreement - the head of the Georgia`s Investment Agency Giorgi Pertaia told journalists after the meeting with the head of the Russia`s Business Association that Georgia would host a georgia-Russian business forum in march 2013, where the representatives of Russia`s largest companies would be present to discuss possible investments.
