Public Defender says procedural violations were revealed during detentions

Public Defender of Georgia says procedural violations were revealed during the recent detentions of former senior officials. Ucha Nanuashvili said one of such cases, during which the procedures of detention were breached, was the governor of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region of Georgia. He abstained from going into the details of the cases, however, said the report would be published soon, where all such facts would be described.
`There were procedural violations during the detention of the governor, but at this moment, I will not go into the details of the fact. Very soon we will publish a special report in this regards, as there are other cases too, where the facts of procedural violations were revealed,` Public Defender said.
