Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava asserts the rallies against the municipal offices are organized by the ruling team aiming at sabotaging in the work of the Tbilisi government. When commenting on the strike of the municipal minibus taxi drivers, for which passengers have faced serious problems of transportation in the capital, Mayor said the negotiations with the protestors were successful at the beginning, but afterwards they changed their positions. Ugulava asserts the drivers were influenced by the representatives of the youth wing of the ruling party Georgian Dream. Mayor fears the process may soon cause obstruction in the work of other municipal officers, which may affect sanitation of the city. Mayor calls on the opponents to apply to other methods when fighting against him.
