Merabishvili, Chiaberashvili to be interrogated

Secretary General of the United National Movement of Georgia, former PM Vano Merabishvili and the former minister of health care, currently governor of Kakheti Region, Zurab Chiaberashvili will be interrogated by the West Georgia district prosecutor`s office today. They have been summoned to the office with the status of witnesses. Vano Merabishvili has to go for interrogation by 16:00, while Chiaberashvili`s interrogation will begin at 12:00.
Over two thousand citizens have been interrogated within the investigation of the case, about which the two former officials will be questioned today. The case refers to the employment of over 21 thousand people within the job seekers` state program, for which the government allocated over five million GEL to cover their salary arrears.
