Justice Minister accused MP Vashadze of takin illegal passport
18.02.13 14:52
Meeting of the governmental authorities and the NGOs today, where the NGOs were summing up 100 days of the government`s work, took place with counter-allegations between the justice minister and minority MP Giorgi Vashadze. The debates began after the speech of the justice minister Tea Tsulukiani. Tea Tsulukiani said that the minority MPs Giorgi Vashadze and Tinatin Bokuchava forced an employ of the Public Service Hall to issue international passports to them illegally. `You are the person, who used your old contacts together with Tinatin Bokuchava and took illegal passports with the help of one employ of the public register office. Afterwards, I had to dismiss this very competent employ and the person, who has done this, should not be talking about the rule of law. I inherited the whole staff of the public register office and I will protect them to the end,` Tsulukiani said. Vashadze accused the minister of threatening him and announced that he had to use this contact because he was denied passport. The dispute continued between the minority MP and Prime Minister after this. The meeting is still underway. Prime Minister and Justice Minister have already left the meeting.
