Man shot dead at ex-minister`s house

A man was shot dead in a house of the former minister of sports and youth affairs, Lado Vardzelashvili. According to the preliminary reports, the accidental shot killed 45 year-old Devi Siradze. The man worked at the ministry of sports for many years and he was still on the position of the youth affairs` department of the ministry. He visited the family of the former minister together with his spouse and was shot dead accidentally. The investigation is in progress. Reportedly, the person, who shot at Siradze accidentally, has been arrested and interrogated by the police. Former minister Lado Vardzelashvili is also at the police answering the questions of the investigation.
Eyewitnesses called for the emergency brigade, which arrived at the N26 Nutsubidze Street in a few minutes, but the man was already dead. However, the family demanded his transfer to the hospital.
Devi Siradze was on vaccations and planned to return to the office today.
