Foreign Minister met with European Commissioner

European Commissioner Cecilia Malmström is visiting Georgia to discuss the visa liberation action plan with Georgian authorities. The official meetings began this morning.
Cecilia Malmström has already held with Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze and discussed the criteria, which Georgia must satisfy within the action plan. Cecilia Malmström handed over to the minister this plan today.
The action plan includes legislative amendments and reforms in different directions such as document safety, border control, migration, public order and security, human rights. Georgian Minister said after the meeting that the visit of the commissioner to Georgia was one more proof of support of the EU to Georgia.
Commissioner has said that the progress of the process completely depends on implementation of the reforms and the political course, which Georgia is following.
