Appointment on concrete positions in the Ministry of Defence of Georgia will be carried out by the “Selection Board” after studying the candidate`s personal file. Today, Minister of Defence has become familiar with the working principle of the Board. Deputy Ministers, Chief of the JS of GAF Colonel Irakli Dzneladze and his deputies as well as heads of departments attended the inter-departmental meeting.
Selection of candidates by the Board is one of the important elements of the personal management reform ongoing in the Defence Ministry. This new approach aims at the maximally objective selection of those personns nominated for particular positions or getting education abroad. By this way, it will be possible to avoid designation of less qualified personnel on certain positions or allowing them to get education in foreign countries. Any kind of pressure or protectionism will be also ruled out.
