Interior Minister plans to meet opposition in parliament

Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili says he is going to accept the invitation of the parliamentary opposition, arrive in Kutaisi and meet with the opposition MPs. Minister says he is prepared to answer any questions of the lawmakers. `I sent an official letter to MPs today and explained that I could not find time for visiting parliament this week as the agenda of meetings was already scheduled. But I have never said that I would not go to parliament. I respect parliament and I will go there. I am prepared to answer any question,` Irakli Gharibashvili told journalists after the session of the government today.
West Georgia`s District Prosecutor`s Office has arrested the secretary general of the United National movement Vano Merabishvili and the president`s representative to the Kakheti Region Zurab Chiaberashvili.
