Georgian delegation is in Venice

Georgian delegation is in Venice to get familiarized with the conclusion of the Venice Commission about the draft law on Common Courts in Georgia. Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Konstantine Kublashvili is among the members of the delegation. The commission will discuss the issue on Georgia at the session before adopting the report.
Experts of the Venice commission were in Georgia a few days ago to obtain information about the judiciary legislation in the country. The document was sent to all members of the commission.
The draft bill was prepared by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Majority MPs believe that the recommendations of the Venice Commission would make final corrections to the project, while the minority thinks that the conclusion will be very strict.
