Prime Minister met with regional media
14.03.13 12:53
Prime Minister of Georgia held a press conference for regional media representatives. Journalists arrived in Tbilisi from all regions to put questions to Bidzina Ivanishvili. Prime Minister began the conference with a report on changes planned in regional governance, regional programs, information centers operating in regions and all other processes launched throughout the country. The first question was about the constitutional changes regarding the reduction of the president`s authority. Bidzina Ivanishvili made a large definition on the issue and emphasized that support to these changes by the parliamentary opposition would be effective for the United National Movement first of all. Ivanishvili downplayed the arguments of the opponents regarding the pressure on opposition MPs for collecting sufficient number of votes for constitutional amendments. `I am not collecting votes, because we have no need to collect votes for constitutional amendments,` Ivanishvili said.
