Reintegration minister responds to Shida Kartli Governor

Georgia`s State Minister for Reintegration Issues has responded to the initiative of teh governor of Shida Kartli Region. Paata Zakareishvili said he`s not going to discuss Andro Barnov`s proposal regarding attendance of governors at the Geneva talks.
"Governors have nothing to do in Geneva and Geneva framework. Moreover, the governor`s institution is to be abolished, because it is a bad institution. Barnov was a political expert himself and he knows when the occupation started and he should recall how the processes were developing", the minister said.
Andro Barnov has recently proposed to allow him or his representatives participate in the meetings organized under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism co-facilitated by the EUMM and the OSCE.
The governor also spoke about the wire entanglements whir are being set up at the boundary of Georgia`s occupied region of South Ossetia. The deputy state minister for reintegration issues responded to the governor sayings that the fact is not news.
