Zugdidi city court has bailed out former member of the parliament, Tengiz Jgushia, who is also the leader of the public movement the Voice of Samegrelo. Jgushia will be released from the insulator after he pays 2,000 GEL bail.
Jgushia was charged with hooliganism and carrying arms illegally by the investigation in the Zugdidi insulator yesterday - the two crimes envisage from 5 to 8 and from 3 to 7 year sentences.
The investigation has clarified that one of the two guns owned by Jgushia was illegally kept by the former MP as its license was no longer valid.
Former MP was arrested a few days ago for shooting towards the deputy governor of Zugdidi Merab Kvaraia. Jgushia says he shot for defense, because Kvaraia assaulted him. His attorneys have already filed a complaint at the prosecutor`s office and the police.
