Priest of the Avchala Saint George Church, Father Nikoloz accuses the office of the prosecutor of pressure - attorneys of ex-minister of interior Bacho Akhalaia have made a statement in this regards and even released a video interview with the clergyman. The priest says that on August 13th, prosecutor Kakhaber Chumbadze forced him to give a testimony to the investigation on the case of Bacho Akhalaia, when he was the minister of interior, while the priest was the director of the Avchala prison. The priest says he had to write in the testimony that four convicts serving their sentences for the murder of Sandro Girgvliani were provided privileged conditions in prison under the order of Bacho Akhalaia. The attorneys of Akhalaia call on the prosecutor`s office to look into the details of the case.
