Riot police are currently storming the building of the city council in Kiev. The last night`s dispersal and the frost did not fear the pro-western protestors to assemble in the center of the capital again.
Tbilisi demonstrates support to the people of Ukraine, who have been rallying in the streets of Kiev and facing riot police attacks during past few weeks. The protestors objected to the rejection of EU association deal by the government.
Developments in Kiev, Ukraine, are still in the focus of the international society. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry issued a statement late Tuesday night saying the Ukrainian response to the protests `is neither acceptable nor does it befit a democracy.`
US Assistance Secretary Victoria Nuland and EU Foreign Policy Chief, Catherine Ashton are already in Ukraine. Victoria Nuland has already met with the opposition leaders to discuss the situation in Ukraine. She said the negotiations were constructive with the opposition. Victoria Nuland will meet with Ukraine`s authorities later today.
Fund for UN Women in Georgia has presented the results of the survey on family violence conducted in Georgia. The survey covered all regions of the country interrogating 1500 respondents. According to the survey, about 80% of the respondents say that family violence is usual in Georgian families, while 34% believe that husbands` violence on wives can be justified and should not be punished by legislation.
